Field Beans In Spicy Coconut Curry

Valyacha Bhirda is a delectable Maharashtrian curry made of field beans and onions sautéed in oil with some warm spices and then cooked in a peppery coconut gravy. The curry is flavoured with some jaggery, garam masala, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and green chillies. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice and unleavened flatbreads.
