Fried Dumplings With Sweet Coconut Stuffing

Talaniche Modak are delicious fried dumplings stuffed with freshly grated coconut, milk solids, dry fruits, cardamom powder, poppy seeds and sugar while the cover is made of a refined flour dough. Ensure the modak cover is well sealed and then deep-fry them in oil over a medium heat until golden brown. Talaniche Modak are specially prepared during the festival of Anant Chaturdashi, the final day of the annual Ganpati Festival.
