Suralichya Wadya is a tea-time snack made by flattening spiced hot chickpea flour batter into bite-sized rolls. Turmeric, salt, ginger and green chillies are used to spice the chickpea flour and curd/buttermilk batter before it is pressure-cooked. Tempered asafoetida, mustard and cumin seeds are later added. Freshly-grated coconut and coriander leaves can be used as a garnish.
