Sweet Balls of Water Chestnut Flour

Shingadyache Ladoo are sweet balls made from water chestnut flour, jaggery and clarified butter. The water chestnut flour is dry roasted on a medium flame before the water and jaggery syrup are stirred in. Finally stir in some clarified butter and flavour with cardamom powder and let the mixture cool. The hand-rolled ladoos can be garnished with the dry fruits of your choice and served as a dessert during days of religious fasting.
