Rava-Besan Vadya are traditional confectionery made of roasted chickpea flour, a little semolina for the crunch, clarified butter, cardamom powder, dry fruits/nuts of choice and the sweetener of choice. The mixture is cooked in a pan and then transferred to a greased plate with tall sides and cut into smaller pieces before it cools completely. Rava-Besan Vadya are specially prepared during the winter months.
