Phutanyachi Chutney is a powdered condiment made of split chickpeas, grated dry coconut, cayenne pepper, asafoetida and salt that is commonly mixed with yoghurt or oil and served as an accompaniment with Indian flatbreads and vegetable preparations. This spicy, fine powder can be stored in a jar and taken out to be consumed in small quantities.
