Sweetened Fresh Coconut Dumplings

Olya Naralachya Karanjya are dumplings with a cover made of a refined flour and semolina dough, stuffed with a mixture of freshly grated coconut, jaggery and cardamom powder. Some milk is added to the dough preparation while the stuffing mixture is roasted on a pan. The stuffed dumplings are fried in oil until golden-brown and can be served immediately or stored for a while in an air-tight container.
