Moongache Papad are traditional crisps made of green gram flour (often mixed with black gram flour) and some common kitchen spices and condiments. The dough is prepared using green gram, salt, pepper and papad khar (alkaline salt). After the dough is rolled into flat papads and then sun-dried for 1-2 days, these sun-dried papads are then fried/roasted and then served as an accompaniment with a wide range of Maharashtrian cuisine.
