Moogachya Dalichi Khichadi is a mildly-spiced rice and lentil hot jumble that is easy to prepare in a short period of time. Green gram and rice are the primary ingredients, along with garlic cloves, turmeric powder, curry leaves and some other common kitchen spices and condiments. This comfort food tastes best when it is still hot after being pressure-cooked, with a dollop of clarified butter. Moogachya Dalichi Khichadi is a go-to dish when one is down with a fever or stomach ache.
