Mande are crispy thin folded flatbread sweets prepared using refined flour and flavoured with powdered sugar, cardamom powder, sesame seeds and some grated coconut. Although the traditional recipe does not call for adding nuts, one can use thinly sliced pistachio or blanched almonds as a delicious element of surprise.
