This is an easy method to get pickled chillies in a unique spicy flavor with bitter undertones. Fenugreek seeds are fried and powdered and added to crushed mustard seeds in lemon juice along with asafoetida, turmeric powder and salt. Into this mixture are added the washed, dried and chopped chillies. A tempering of asafoetida, mustard and turmeric is added and the whole preparation is mixed thoroughly. Your meal will never taste bland again!
