Kobiche Bhanole are nutritious and delicious savoury cakes made using finely chopped cabbage, onions and coriander leaves, chickpea flour, grated coconut and variety of common kitchen spices and condiments. A thick layer of the spiced mixture preparation is poured into a high sided non-stick pan layered with some oil and heated until the bottom side is well roasted. The cake is flipped repeatedly so that both sides are roasted well and is then allowed to cool and sliced into smaller pieces. Kobiche Bhanole are served with a variety of chutneys.
