Fully ripened Rajeli (or Nendran or Kerala) Bananas kneaded along with some rice flour make the skin of these very unusual dumplings. Fresh coconut, sugar is cooked and cooled separately and mixed with cardamom, chopped dry fruit and ground poppy seeds. This filling is then stuffed into cups made of the kneaded dough and fried. An unusual way to include very ripe bananas into our diet!
