Chickpea Flour Gravy

Maharashtrian Kadhi is a chickpea flour and yogurt based spiced gravy without pakoras (vegetable fritters) added, unlike the Punjabi variety that adds the same. This curry preparation is seasoned with a tempering of common kitchen spices and a little sugar/jaggery for a mild sweetness. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
