Gul Pohe is a delightful porridge-like preparation of flattened rice and grated coconut cooked in milk, sweetened with jaggery and further flavoured with cardamom powder. Milk is added according to the consistency that is desired. Maharashtrian-style Gul Pohe can be consumed as breakfast, a snack or even a dessert!
