Gharge are deep fried flatbread snacks, prepared using grated red pumpkin, grated jaggery and wheat flour. If nutmeg is added to the dough preparation, it adds a nutty, warm element to the dish. Mildly-sweet Gharge paired with spicy pickles are known to be a delicious combination.
