Rava Dhokla is yet another variety of the special savoury, sponge cakes from Gujarat. This classic steamed dish is made from a water-based paste of semolina, yoghurt, and green chillies. Gently mix in some fruit salt right before steaming to enhance the fluffiness of these sponge cakes. Rava Dhokla is best served with a piquant green chutney.
