Doodhi Bhoplyachi Bhaj is a mildly-spiced Goan preparation of bottle gourd and fresh coconut that is commonly served as part of a weekday meal along with Indian flatbreads or steamed rice and lentil-curries. This simple dish is often perked up with some onions and the flavours are enhanced by using green chillies, asafoetida and salt.
