Dalimbi Bhat is a special pulao-like preparation of rice, field beans and a wide range of common kitchen spices and condiments. The sprouted field beans are cooked in clarified butter, along with cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and further flavoured with goda masala and the powders made of red chilli, dry turmeric, coriander and cumin. The rice is added to the mixture along with some salt, jaggery and coriander leaves and cooked well. Dalimbi Bhat must be served hot.
