Dadpe Pohe is a delicious Maharashtrian snack recipe that is prepared with beaten rice, vegetables of choice, fresh coconut, raw peanuts and some common kitchen spices and condiments. Roasted beaten rice is mixed with chopped onions and tomatoes, grated carrots and coconut, lemon juice, sugar and salt and is then kept aside for a while. A tempering of mustard seeds and asafoetida is mixed into the rice and Dadpe Pohe is ready to be served with a lemon wedge.
