Bharli Wangi is a traditional Maharashtrian dish of slow-cooked eggplants stuffed with a mixture of onions, tomatoes, peanuts, ginger, garlic and some powdered spices (such as garam masala, red chillies and turmeric). The stuffed brinjals (dry-style preparation or with extra gravy) can be served with a variety of unleavened Indian flatbreads.
