Okra with Spicy Coconut Stuffing

Bharli Bhendi is a simple and delicious sautéed preparation of okra that involves stuffing it with grated coconut, roasted peanuts, coriander leaves and some spices and condiments. The spices and condiments used in the stuffing include goda masala (a blended mixture of aromatic spices), turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, green chillies, lemon juice and sugar. The Maharashtrian-style Bharli Bhendi can be served with parathas (flaky, layered flatbreads), lentil-based curries and salads.
