Bhajji are classic tea-time savoury fritters that are served as snacks in many regions of the Indian subcontinent. A variety of vegetables are coated in a spiced gram flour-based batter, deep-fried in oil and served immediately. These spicy snacks are a delight during the monsoon months. Potatoes, onions and other vegetables like cauliflower, spinach, green chillies and capsicum or fruits like raw bananas are good candidates for this favorite snack.
