Stir Fried Potato Slices

Batatyachya Kachrya is a spicy stir-fried preparation of potatoes sliced into thin quarters. This dish uses mustard seeds, asafoetida as well as powdered Kashmiri chillies, red chillies and dry turmeric as flavouring agents. After the sliced potatoes, spices and condiments are well-sautéed in oil, garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve as a side dish with unleavened bread and/or steamed rice and a lentil-based curry.
